Summer = watermelon. You can eat your fill of ripe, juicy watermelon in wedges or in cubes – pink- or yellow-fleshed, your call. You’ll be refreshed but you’ll be sticky. Or you can try Tsamma Watermelon Juice (pronounce it “sah-mah”). Frey Farm has done all the work, cold pressing one and a half pounds of watermelon into each 12-ounce bottle. We tried both flavors. The regular juice has just a hint of citrus while coconut water fans went crazy for the coconut water blend.
If you like watermelon, you’ll love the convenience of having an ice cold bottle of watermelon juice on hand for when you need to recuperate from summer fun or just because. They grow their melons in Georgia as well as six other states (so they can harvest melons almost all year around) so you just might be drinking Georgia watermelon juice. $2.99 per 12-ounce bottle. Available at The Fresh Market and metro Atlanta Publix and Kroger stores.
